Update

Happy Fathers Day to all you Dad's out there!

Eric had the day off today, which has been awesome. It's the first Father's Day I ever remember him taking off. We've had a great day - very relaxing and just getting a few things done around the house. We haven't had to go anywhere today, which is rare for us. Seems like everyday we are in the car for a drive. It's so nice when we don't have to drive anywhere.

School if officially out for summer break. Last Tuesday marked the end of grade school for Chloe. She's off to middle school next year. She is really looking forward to the summer. She has big plans to relax, catch up on some reading, go on a few mini-vacation, and most importantly, hang out with her friends!

Yesterday my Mom and I drove to Port Ludlow, WA. It was my friend Signe's bridal shower. It was one of the best days I have had in a long time. My Mom and I left early in the morning, since the shower was at 11am. The drive too us about 4 hours, which was shorter than I expected. No traffic on the road helped that. We had an awesome time at the shower. The drive home went pretty fast too. It was just great to have that alone time with my Mom to talk about things. We never run out of things to talk about out :)

I have to admit, I had way more caffeine yesterday than I probably have ever had in my life. Many vanilla coke zero's and plenty of tea - I felt like I was bouncing off the walls yesterday at the shower and talking at warp speed. Today I am moving at a much slower pace.

Tyler seems to be enjoying the nice weather we are having. He likes to go outside and water the plants - he is just an outdoor kid who enjoys having the sunshine.
