12

Chloe is 12. So hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday she started kindergarten. The years have flown by so fast. She has turned into a lovely young lady who is so fun to be around...and she is just as beautiful on the inside and she is on the outside.
We celebrated Chloe's birthday the weekend of June 29th. It started out with a trip to salon so Chloe could get her hair trimmed and get bangs. She looks so adorable (grown up) with the bangs. She is loving them!

At our house, when it's your birthday, you get to pick out what you want to do that day, right down to the foods that we eat. This year, Chloe chose to go to sushi for her birthday. What a treat for all of us. Yum! We dined away and stuffed ourselves with delicious sushi. Her Aunt Krista and friend Petra were able to join us for lunch in Portland. It was a very fun day. She even managed to drag her little brother and Dad to Beauty Supply!
That evening we had a few of Eric's family members over. Chloe's Aunt Krista was leaving for an extended France vacation, so Chloe wanted to get in every last moment she would with her Aunt. For dinner Chloe chose to have homemade mac n' cheese (yum), watermelon, and Caesar salad. Her cake was from DQ (per her request). Needless to say we all ate way too much, but had a very fun time.

After dinner, we played the "Chloe memory game", then had cake and opened presents. Thanks to all for Chloe's great gifts!

Chloe's big birthday surprise was a new pink bike she had her eye on. This picture is blurry, but I think you get the idea of her excitement when she saw her new bike...

Taking it out for a test drive...

Chloe, your birthday was so much fun & you are such a neat girl to hang out with. We are so blessed to have you in our family! We look forward to celebrating all your birthday's with you!
